About Venheim · the company

Built inside a real business

Venheim is operations software for hospitality, studios and retail. This page answers the question that comes before every sign-up: who are you, actually — and what happens to our records if you are gone tomorrow? Here are the short history, the principles and the honest answers.

In short

Venheim is operations software for hospitality, studios and retail: rota, time clock, HACCP records, cleaning and the monthly package for the tax adviser in one app. It was built in 2026 inside a real business, because paper slips, spreadsheets and WhatsApp groups did not hold up in daily operations — and it is used there every day. The figures are live on the “in real operation” page (German).

Historysince 2026

From the business, not from the drawing board

Venheim begins in a real business with a kitchen, a counter and shift work. Before Venheim it ran the way most small businesses run: temperature lists on slips next to the fridge, rosters in Excel, arrangements in WhatsApp groups. None of that is wrong — until an inspection wants to see the record, a slip gets soaked or the third version of the spreadsheet is going round.

Venheim grew out of exactly this daily life in 2026. Every function exists because it was missing there — not because it was in a specification.

The field test runs every day

The app is used in a real business every day — if a reminder did not arrive, it would show up there first, not with a customer. People and records are live figures on the “in real operation” page (German) — straight from the database, rounded down, never up.

Principlesverifiable

Four principles — each one verifiable

Principles come cheap as long as they only sit on an About page. These four are built so they can be checked — on the product, not on our words.

Honesty before effect

No invented customer numbers, no bought reviews. Reference figures come live from our own database and are rounded down, never up — anyone who wants to count can do so on the “in real operation” page (German).

No lock-in

The full export of your own organisation — one CSV file per table plus all stored files — and complete deletion are available to the business itself at any time. No phone call, no notice period, no cancellation conversation.

Records belong to the business

If a subscription ends, only writing in paid areas is stopped. Viewing and exporting stay free — a record that has to be shown to an inspector is never held hostage.

One price per site

You pay per site, never per person. One more summer helper changes nothing about the price — the business decides the size of the team, not the billing.

Way of workingshort paths

How we work

Being small has two honest advantages: short paths and nothing that could be hidden. Both can be observed, not just claimed.

The roadmap is public

What gets built next is visible to everyone on the roadmap page (German) — including what is deliberately not being built.

Changes are listed under “What's new”

Every finished improvement gets its entry under What's new (German) — so you can check whether there is movement behind the roadmap.

Requests make it in

What customer businesses write is tested against real daily operations and feeds into the roadmap. There is always an answer — even if it is “no, and here is why”.

Frequently asked questions

Are you a big team?
No, and we would rather say so ourselves before someone finds out: Venheim is a small company that grew out of a real business — no corporation, no call centre, no sales department. Support runs by email and is answered by someone who uses the app every day. If you need a round-the-clock hotline, we are the wrong choice; if you want an answer from someone who knows the problem from daily operations, we are the right one.
How long has Venheim existed?
As a product since 2026, and that is young — we do not pretend otherwise. The software was built inside a real business, where it has run every day since: rosters, temperatures, working hours, goods receipt. How much has come together there is on the “in real operation” page — the figures come live from the database and are rounded down, never up.
What happens if you are no longer around?
The honest answer first: with a small provider this risk is real, and that is why we build so that it does not hit you. There are daily backups, a full export of your own organisation at any time — one CSV file per table plus all stored files — and viewing and exporting stay free even without a subscription. Your records never depend on our availability. The security and data protection page covers this in detail.
Do customer requests really make it in?
Yes, and verifiably: the roadmap is public, every finished change is listed under “What's new”, and customer requests feed into both. Every suggestion is tested against real daily operations — a function nobody in a real business uses does not get built just because it would look good on a feature list. What is missing there every week gets built and then used every day.
Why don't you show customer testimonials or badges?
Because we do not invent any, and we do not use real customer businesses without asking. We only show reference figures where they come live from our own database — on the “in real operation” page, rounded down rather than dressed up. As soon as customer businesses explicitly agree, that will change; until then an empty space is more honest than an invented quote.

From a business, for businesses

That is this page in one sentence — and the reason Venheim exists. Whether the app fits your business is shown by the trial in the end, not by this page.
